What to Expect During Well-Child Visits

During well-child visits, you can expect a thorough examination that includes:

  • Complete Physical Exam: Our pediatricians will conduct a comprehensive physical examination to assess your child's overall health and development.

  • Developmental Skills Review: We will review your child's developmental milestones to ensure they are meeting age-appropriate skills and provide guidance on promoting healthy development.

  • Immunization Recommendations: Based on your child's age and health history, we will recommend any necessary immunizations to protect against preventable diseases. Please bring your child's immunization record, especially if this is your first visit or if your child has received vaccines at another practice.

  • Lab, Vision, and Hearing Checks: Following Bright Futures guidelines, we will perform appropriate lab tests, vision screenings, and hearing assessments at recommended ages.
